Color Challenge - wow it's bright!

I used apricot, pixie pink and celery cardstock to make this bright card - I guess it's pretty cheerful looking though.
The main image was colored with copics and sponged along the edges. I added white gel pen accents to the flower and faux stitching along the edges.

That 4-Letter Word: Grey!

Just another hilariously funny image from Emerson Quillin, aptly named--Grey. I added a little Smooch pearlized accent ink in Green Apple here and there and embellished with some fun buttons and satin ribbon. That's it, cause the image does all the work here!

Christmas in July

I have two cards to share using the same layout but with different patterned papers and two different bird images from Robin Pickens, accompanied by sentiments from Kathleene Callei's Winter Words cling set. Each of the birds is colored with reinkers and either blender pen and/or watercolor brush. I accented the birds' wings with Green Apple Smooch pearlized accent ink, and embellished each card with a pair of buttons. It's never too soon to start on those Christmas cards!

Nobody Need Wait

Another new image from the Zenspirations line.... Nobody Need Wait. I used my new pinking shear circle to cut the layer and colored the entire panel with Copics. The patterned papers are from K&Company's Citronella line. Check out the really cool, new Zenspirations line at AAS... you'll love it too!

it's a fish fry

Hi everyone, so glad to bring out the Ken Brown stamps today and play. I love the retro, quirky style...and with it being the season of grillin' and chillin', I had to use this very fun cook! I've used Cosmo Cricket papers, and Copic markers for coloring my fish. The tiny lure, well, I found it on my kitchen counter and thought it was fair game!!! I'm glad, she stuck to her motto: Her Soul was stirred, but not shaken.

Look for more of Ken Brown's stamps in the coming weeks, just be prepared to laugh! Thanks for stopping by and I'd love to know what you think...
