Trick or Treat

I made the above card using an oval punch and textured, white core paper to construct the pumpkin.  Simply punch the ovals, sand the edges and layer - pretty easy and totally cute!   The sentiment is from the Halloween 2 set.

Best In Breed

I had so much fun creating these cards using Emerson Quillin's Best of Breed because these images just crack me up! I used a sketch challenge for my starting point on the first card pictured above, and added a row of buttons to fill in the empty space at the bottom of the main image panel. My Emerson gal and her pooch are colored with a combination of colored pencils and reinkers.

My second card features the same image, colored a bit differently with patterned paper from Stampin' Up!. A bit of ribbon, a button and pearl stickers for her earrings round out the embellishments.

Christmas Trees***

This is an image designed by Robin Pickens. It is stamped with Razzbery Chalk ink and distressed a little around the edges with antique linen ink before it dried. It gave the trees a little glow.
Some glitter was added to the stars.
The sentiment is also from AAS.
The paper is Cosmo cricket. The back side of the paper was used for the pink hill and was cut and stitched..
The ribbon is from Michaels.

Single Bar

You know how much I {heart} the Emerson Quillin images, and Single Bar is no exception! I spiced her up a bit (as if!) with a classy color combo of gray, black and plum. The only extra color added to the image is a reverse masked cuppa-cuppa and a bit of shadowing here and there using an aquapainter. Be sure to check out the entire line of Emerson Quillin images at American Art Stamp!

This pig rider is one of my favorite Ken Brown stamps! I had to use him as a stand in for the jolly old man. The cowboy and pig are colored with Copics. Paper by K&CO. You can find the stamp here.
