Blessings

This new Adriana Cirstea image called Bunny with Chicks reminds me of vintage paper mache Easter eggs we had as kids, so I tried to emulate the look and feel of them on this card. The image is stamped in Stazon Brown ink and watercolored with inks to match the patterned paper. I also distressed the main image panel and sponged it with Ranger Distress Old Paper ink. Two of the chicks and the bunny's bow are popped up for added dimension.

Love Roses

I stamped these Love Roses with Momento Rich Cocoa ink and colored with Prismacolor Pencils. I added Stardust Stickles to the bubbles and the flower centers, and I sponged around the edge of the image circle. The circles were cut and embossed with Circle Nestabilities. The paper is Sugared by BasicGrey. I embossed the background with a Cuttlebug and Heart Blocks embossing folder.

Enjoy! :)

A simple card*** The image from Karen Stolper is stamped in black archival ink and colored with Copic markers.
It is layered onto black and pink cardstock.
The funky flower stickers are from Stampendous.

LOVE***

After I posted this I realized that the ribbon is covering the two love birds***
I stamped this image in black archival ink on white cardstock and colored with Tombow markers. I used nestabilities to cut out the two shapes.
The polka dots are stamped in Colorbox ink "Surf"..
Ribbons were added .. This image sort of has an Alice in Wonderland feel to it..

Couple in Love

Here is another of the new American Art Stamp Valentine images. I think it can be used for any occasion -- I'll be using this one for a wedding card. I inked Couple in Love with Top Boss Watermark, then I heat embossed with black detail embossing powder. I watercolored the image and sponged the edges with Colorbox Lemon Grass ink. I used a Cuttlebug and Swiss Dots embossing folder on the background cardstock, and the paper is from the Loves Me collection by Imaginisce.

Birds of Hope

This is one of my favorite stamps from the newly released Valentines images. It's really something that can be used for almost any occasion and is so elegant looking.

I sponged the background with Colorbox Citrine ink, then inked the edges of the image with a darker Olive ink. The birds and flowers were colored with Copic markers. The shape was cut with Nestabilities Label die.

Easter Chick

This is an adorable new Easter image that has been watercolored with Colorbox in Citrine and Razzberry pigment ink. I kept my watercoloring pretty simple because of the wonderful detail of the stamp itself. A pretty scalloped edge and pink ribbon sum up this sweet Easter card.

With Love***

This is a new Easter image which I have stamped in Black archival ink, colored with Prismacolor pencils and paper pieced the bow on the rabbit.
I edged the white cardstock in Razzberry Colorbox ink as well as Tea Dye Distress ink.
The tag is cut from a Spellbinders tag and edged in Razzberry Colorbox ink as well.

Time for Love... Happy Valentines Day!

I used the LOVE CLOCK stamp for the main image and stamped it with True Blue pigment ink from Colorbox, which I embossed with clear ep for a quick finish (I'm a little impatient and don't let things dry long enough). The image was watercolored, then stickles were applied for a little sparkle. The patterned paper is from Scenic Route.

I used Oval Nestabilities for the main image and echoed the scallops on the background strips as well. The Happy Valentines Day tag is attached to the ribbon with a jump ring.
