Cheers!

Hello! Don't these cocktails look yummy? After I colored them with watercolor pencils, I gave them a coat of Crystal Effects for shine and dimension. I couldn't get the phrase 'cheers' out of my head so I printed the sentiment on my computer and cut it out with oval Nestabilities. The paper is from Imaginisce and the ribbon is from Michaels. Thanks for looking.

Hey Sailor***

This is a stamp designed by Ken Brown. When I saw it "Hey Sailor" immediately came to mind.
I stamped the image in black archival ink, colored it with Prismacolor pencils, distressed it with Scattered Straw distress ink, then crumpled it up to make it look old.
I layered it to black linen cardstock and then to some designer paper from my stash.

Season's Greeting***

This is a design by Karen Stolper. I stamped her in Adirondack Black ink and colored her with Copics and copper shimmer pen.
I added some glitter to her dress and layered her to copper mirri card and a deep yellow.
The sentiment is from Penny Black***

Celebrate the Bride***

This stamp is from a set designed by Karen Stolper for American Art Stamp and is one of the new Cling Thing sets.
I stamped the image on Shimmer white cardstock and barely colored the bride's dress and the roses on the wedding gown in soft pink. It is difficult to see in this picture but I added glitter on the gown.
A large pink prima and smaller white one were added with a pink brad and a Martha Stewart punch was used to decorate the edge of the card.
The sentiment is from the same set.

Caroling

I just love coloring these fun images by Karen Stolper, and have taken my color cues from the patterned paper on this card. My caroling couple is stamped in Versafine Onyx Black ink and then colored with a blender pen and reinkers. The textured Soft Sky cardstock was cut to mimic a wide ribbon, secured with a fancied up button. Be sure to stop on over at American Art Stamp to browse through more of Karen Stolper's fun and whimsical designs, now available in cling mounted sets!

Putting up lights...

Christmas is in the air...not really, but this fun image from Karen Stolper called Putting Up The Lights is sure to get you in the mood! My little decorator is stamped in Versafine Black Onyx and then colored with a blender pen and reinkers. This image is one of a set of cling mounted stamps available through AAS.

Walkin' the dog...

I was so excited to receive new stamps in the mail yesterday, including this cling mounted Dog set which is a combination of Karen Stolper images and Kathleene Callei sentiments. This particular image made me think of walking on a crisp, chilly Autumn morning! The image is colored with a blender pens and reinkers.

Small Things

I am so thrilled to be a member of the American Art Stamp Design Team. For this card I used an image from Angels 3. I stamped the angel onto decorative paper with brown StazOn and used Copics for a little additional shading. The paper is from Basic Grey.
