Building a Snowman

Isn't this the cutest snowman? I stamped the image on cream cardstock and colored him with watercolor pencils and a blender pen. I added sepia glaze for an antique look. Thanks for looking.

The Newest American Art Stamp Designers

All the applicants were so amazing that I had a hard time picking just one! So I decided to add one designer and 5 guest designers to take us through the winter and into spring.

The newest designer on our team is Christina Fischer. I've always been a huge fan of her work and was tickled pink when I received her application.

We will also have a new designer each month starting in December and running through April. They are:
December - Deb Anton
January - Renee
February - Libby
March - Kecia
April - Desiree

Congratulations to our new designer and guest designers and a big THANK YOU to all that applied!

Be Merry***

This is a stamp by Karen Stolper, embossed in white on white cardstock and then has blue ink sponged on. A little glitter on the wreath as well. The holly cuttlebug folder was used on the card base and Marvy snowflake punches as well as a snowflake brad used to finish off the card.
The sentiment is Papertrey Ink.

AAS Design Team Call

Wow - Six months certainly goes by fast!! It hardly seems like it's been 6 months since the American Art Stamp design team was started, but is has! With our 6 month anniversary comes another chance for YOU to be the newest designer on the AAS team!

I'm looking for one new person to fill this team... interested? If you'd like the opportunity to work on this design team then please do the following:

1. Go to American Art Stamp and take a peek at the lines that they offer. It's really important to LIKE the stamps that you work with! American Art Stamps has several lines with vastly different styles, so there is a wide assortment to choose from!

2. If you like what you see and think you would enjoy working with them then I'd like you to send me an email with the following:
- Name
- Address to your SCS gallery and/or Blog
- Any Design Teams you currently work with
- Why you would like to be on this design team
- send this email to

The monthly requirements are pretty low stress (I'm easy to work with). The monthly requirements will be 5-6 cards or projects - just about one per week. The projects will be posted on the American Art Stamp blog and also on your personal blog and galleries.

I look forward to hearing you!
